

Ann Carey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a rich background in both education and mental health. She holds a Master of Social Work, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. With over 30 years of experience in education—as a classroom teacher, child development specialist, and founder of a behavior support program—she brings a deep understanding of child development and behavioral needs. Since 2017, she has been dedicated to supporting the mental health of both children and adults, and has served as a field supervisor for emerging professionals since 2018.

In her therapeutic work, Ann takes a personalized and holistic approach, carefully considering each client’s physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual needs. She integrates a variety of evidence-based methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques. She is also trained in EMDR and has specialized training in child-focused therapeutic modalities.

Ann incorporates principles of loving-kindness, compassion, and restoration. She believes that healing begins with connection, and that collaboration is key to creating a safe, empowering space where clients can grow and thrive.
